Chapter 104

Elias knew well that Ilesha hadn't personally chosen any of the undergarments she was currently wearing, nor any of the items purchased today.

She had only been in the shop for about three minutes, and after meeting the Second Imperial Princess, she’d only had enough time to complete the purchase and collect the boxes.

At most, she would have had time to be measured, and the Saintess must have handled everything else.

However, the question of who had chosen those provocative undergarments was of no concern to him.

The black lace lingerie, through which her fair skin was visible, enveloped her upper and lower body, yet left the most crucial areas exposed.

Her pink nipples stood erect as if begging to be touched or caressed, and while they were enticing enough, the plump mound between her legs and the shy entrance hidden within were sufficient to reduce him to a mindless beast.

It was fortunate that she hadn't tried these on in a space he couldn't control.

If anyone, man or woman, had seen her like this, he would have wanted to gouge out their eyes.

Elias carefully laid her down on the bed, cradling her in his arms.

Though incomparably smaller and humbler than the bed they used in Tenaclad, even this became a beautiful picture with Ilesha’s presence.

“Ilesha…”

He pressed himself against her, already rubbing against her lower abdomen, his hardness seeking her entrance, which was already slick with arousal.

“Mmn…”

As he pressed his tip against her opening, moving back and forth, her sweet moans echoed in his mouth.

She was clearly trying to suppress them, likely worried about the sound carrying outside.

He felt conflicting desires—wanting to drive into her relentlessly until everyone knew she was his, and wanting to muffle these alluring sounds so no one could imagine her in such a sensual state.

Amidst these violently tangling impulses, he gathered what remained of his scattered reason and depleted patience, penetrating her very slowly.

“Ah…”

Despite having received him multiple times that day, she remained as tight as ever as his blunt tip pushed inside.

Her warm inner flesh gripped him without any gaps, sending waves of ecstasy through his entire body.

Perhaps it wasn't she who needed to suppress her moans, but rather him.

“Ngh…”

Finding it impossible to hold back, he broke their kiss and squeezed his eyes shut, only to feel soft touches on his cheeks.

She cupped his face with both hands, licking her own lower lip that had turned white from being bitten so much.

“Elias…” she whimpered.

How could he not respond to such a pitiful yet lovely gesture?

Forgetting his intention to be considerate, he hastily captured her lips while thrusting his hips upward.

“Ahh…!”

He desperately claimed her, pinning down her delicate body with his large, firm frame.

The shoddily constructed wooden bed creaked and groaned with their movements.

"She asked me… if I liked the Duke."

Today, Ilesha had cleverly deceived him and gone to meet the Second Imperial Princess. Where had she heard about his near political marriage to that woman?

"I told her that I was merely tempted by the benefits I could gain from marrying the Duke."

Perhaps she had heard it directly from Leonard. After all, Leonard had wanted to use Elias as a tool for a political marriage to draw the Second Imperial Princess’s faction to his side.

Moreover, since he seemed to favor Ilesha, he might have revealed this fact to try to drive a wedge between them.

"When I promised never to approach you again, she let me go."

Both the original Leonard, whom he had considered a friend, and the new being who had taken over his body, were merely competitors trying to take Ilesha from him.

And it wasn’t just them.

Everyone who looked at her with eyes of admiration or reverence was a target of Elias’s vigilance.

Though he had tried to contain his pathological symptoms from Ilesha’s notice,

‘She said that no one could take her away from me.’

If jealousy could make one tremble with such ecstasy, was there any need to hold back?

‘When you are mine alone, in past and future, how pitiful that I would feel insecure.’

Even while thinking this, how base a human was he to feel such joy?

“Ah…!”

Her beautiful body trembled as she was overcome with climax.

Feeling as though he might lose his mind, he thrust faster and harder, causing her to clutch his forearms in surprise.

“No… The sound…”

“It’s alright… it’s alright, Ilesha.” He merged their lips again without giving her time to breathe, roughly exploring her tender flesh, marking her fair skin until it was thoroughly flushed, yet he still felt desperate.

He regretted that she wasn’t a part of his body.

If only she could become the blood flowing through his veins. Or perhaps the heart pumping that blood. If not that, then this hot, rough breath.

Then he wouldn't need to feel such anxiety and unease.

After all, when he lost her, his life would naturally end as well.

Pressing his tip against her cervix, he poured his seed deep inside, tightly intertwining his fingers with hers.

Of course, he had no intention of ending with just this once.

Despite taking her to excess and filling her with his essence until her belly swelled, the fact that she hadn't conceived yet clearly showed his efforts were lacking.

‘No, actually, these are all just excuses.’

Originally, it was she who wanted a child, not him. He only desired her pregnancy because then she wouldn't leave him.

As long as she stayed by his side forever, he couldn't care less about having children.

When even the world’s destruction was outside his concern, why would he care about Tenaclad's continuation or producing an heir?

Watching Ilesha as she breathed heavily, her eyes tinged red with satisfaction, he gently pressed his forehead against hers and said,

“We still have many boxes left.”

She blinked her round eyes and burst into laughter. “Okay.” Her laughter filled his chest, like soap bubbles shimmering with mysterious colors. “I really love you so much, Elias.” It overflowed and spilled over, making him smile. “Me too, Ilesha.”

They transformed the heavy gray space into a brilliant light, crafting it into a paradise that couldn’t exist in this world.

This was a fortune and happiness that his younger self, inevitably burdened with the fruits of misfortune, could never have imagined would come in his lifetime.

In the end, Elias and I didn’t attend the banquet.

To think I would refuse food! If my past self saw me now, she would grab me by the collar and shake me in shock.

But if I were to grab my past self’s collar in return and point to Elias while shouting, “That man is your husband!” she would surely nod and say, “Oh, well, that can’t be helped.”

How could such a perfect man exist in this world?

I studied each of Elias’s features as he slept soundly. The more I looked, the more I marveled.

Even though all the lingerie we’d brought to the room was thoroughly soaked with his essence, not a single piece intact, I still wanted to pounce on him again.

However, no matter how much I desired him, I had to hold back for now.

‘There are things that need to be done.’

Having sneaked into the imperial capital with the Saintess, I couldn’t just stay holed up in the temple. Moreover…

I carefully slipped out of his embrace, hastily threw a robe over my nightclothes, and left the room.

As I walked out of the building toward the back of the temple, I saw Baeksa standing there, just far enough that Elias wouldn't notice.

“When did you get here?”

Thanks to Elias’s recently acquired “putting me to sleep” skill, I had dozed off helplessly and couldn’t guess how long Baeksa had been waiting for me.

“Just now.” Baeksa glanced briefly behind me. “Is he asleep?”

“Yes.”

“That’s fortunate. I have much to discuss.”

Come to think of it, when Baeksa visited Tenaclad yesterday, he’d said he had something to explain about Pairs.

“Ilesha, actually, about Pairs…”

Sure enough, that was the first topic he brought up.

Although the explanation that followed was both unbelievable and incomprehensible to me, I listened quietly without interrupting.

‘What in the world is all this?’

“So, Pairs are nothing more than a means to produce offspring with superior qualities. It’s extremely rare for them to live together forever, acting as if they’re everything to each other. Most just complete their duty and part ways.”

When I just blinked at him after his explanation, he tapped the bridge of my nose.

“You’re thinking I must be misunderstanding something, right?”

“Yes. All the Pairs I’ve seen were inseparable, believing each other to be their destiny.”

“That’s because ‘someone’ threatened them to show only that kind of behavior to you.”

I knew exactly who he meant by ‘someone.’

But that made it even more puzzling.

‘Zero went through all that trouble?’

“Why? Why would he go to such lengths?”

“That’s…” Baeksa hesitated, then sighed deeply. “I can’t tell you about that. But since you don’t seem to believe me, I’ll tell you just one thing.” He frowned, his expression suggesting he’d rather not say it. “That woman who now possesses the First Imperial Princess’s body and I were Pairs designated by our world. That should give you some idea of what I mean?”

“……!!!”

I instantly understood the concept of Pairs and could only cover my mouth in shock.
