Chapter 15

Jing Rui leaned her forehead against Chi Jia's, one arm around her, the other cupping her face, and sighed softly. "Let's go to a hotel..."

Such close and intimate eye contact was dangerous, easily leading to a loss of control.

Chi Jia knew what going to a hotel implied.

Occasionally, a car or two sped down the street, but the surroundings were relatively quiet. Compared to the noisy bar, Chi Jia was much more sober now. She avoided Jing Rui's eyes, muttering unconvincingly, "I'm not interested."

Chi Jia pulled Jing Rui's arm away from her waist.

Jing Rui didn't believe Chi Jia wasn't interested, not after their earlier intimacy.

Chi Jia's legs felt a bit weak; tonight, to show off in front of Jing Rui, she had indeed drunk more than usual. Just as she was about to turn and leave, Jing Rui suddenly pulled her back, and before she could react, she was pressed against the wall by Jing Rui.

Both of them were slightly breathless.

"Let go..." As soon as Chi Jia looked up, Jing Rui's warm, soft lips met hers.

Turnabout was fair play, even for forced kisses.

Chi Jia only resisted for a moment before opening her lips to respond to Jing Rui's kiss. It wasn't passionate, but deeply involved, as if savoring each other slowly and deliberately.

Jing Rui held Chi Jia close, her voice low. "Feeling anything?"

Matching Jing Rui's low tone, Chi Jia wanted to say she felt a lot, so much that she was completely captivated. The alcohol hadn't made her dizzy, but Jing Rui's closeness did.

"Mmm..." Chi Jia caressed Jing Rui's neck, silently continuing the kiss.

Her response was the best answer.

"I feel a lot," Jing Rui nuzzled Chi Jia's cheek. "Aren't you going to take responsibility?"

Chi Jia's face was flushed. This woman was a true vixen, and what was worse, she seemed to be completely smitten. She cupped Jing Rui's face in her hands and kissed her again, wanting more.

Jing Rui responded to Chi Jia's kiss. "So, are we going?"

Chi Jia lowered her eyes and bit her lip. "Mmm..."

They hailed a cab. Chi Jia, who had vehemently refused to go to a hotel earlier, now felt the ride was excruciatingly long.

Chi Jia leaned against Jing Rui's shoulder, her eyes half-closed, her head nuzzling into Jing Rui's neck, murmuring drunkenly, "Why aren't we there yet..."

Chi Jia's unintentional teasing made Jing Rui restless. She leaned close to Chi Jia's ear and whispered, "Behave yourself, we're not there yet."

Jing Rui's breath was incredibly seductive. Chi Jia pouted at her, complaining, "Vixen, you're seducing me again..."

"You're the one..." Jing Rui said, then turned and captured Chi Jia's lips, her hand cupping Chi Jia's face, shielding them from view.

Chi Jia abandoned all restraint, eagerly returning the kiss, lost in the moment.

The driver often picked up passengers in this area. Although this wasn't the first time he had witnessed such a scene, it was still slightly awkward. Thankfully, they were only a few hundred meters from their destination.

Drunk. Chi Jia felt incredibly intoxicated tonight, otherwise she wouldn't be making out so passionately in the backseat of a taxi.

Jing Rui, in her usual extravagant manner, booked a presidential suite without batting an eye.

Chi Jia never imagined her first experience in a presidential suite would be like this.

Inside the elevator, Chi Jia stood in a corner, slightly dazed. Although she was drunk, she knew what she was doing; she was going to a hotel room with a woman...

Chi Jia had been in several relationships, but they had never reached this stage.

Since she turned sixteen, her mother had warned her to be careful when choosing men, to distinguish between genuine affection and those who just wanted to take advantage of her. Her mother had always worried about this, especially since Chi Jia had been constantly pursued since middle school.

Chi Jia felt like she was cursed with rotten luck in relationships. It wasn't without reason that people called her a "scumbag harvester"; Jiang Shen wasn't the only ex who broke up with her because he couldn't sleep with her.

Somehow, Chi Jia felt a strong urge to let loose tonight, to disregard feelings and simply follow her impulses, indulging for one night.

Jing Rui stepped forward and embraced Chi Jia. "Are you feeling unwell?"

"No..."

Ding! The elevator stopped.

Seeing Chi Jia's dazed expression, lost in thought, Jing Rui also calmed down. "It's not too late to back out now."

Chi Jia retorted, "Jing Rui, don't tell me you're chickening out?"

"It's better if you don't regret it."

They swiped their card and entered the brightly lit room.

The door closed, leaving them alone.

Chi Jia stood there, feeling slightly lost. Her heart had been racing since they entered the elevator. Honestly, despite the alcohol, she was still quite nervous, although she tried to appear tough.

Jing Rui took Chi Jia's bag and put it aside. "I'll get you a glass of water."

Chi Jia's mind was blank. She grabbed Jing Rui's hand and kissed her without a word; there didn't seem to be anything else to do.

They stumbled onto the sofa.

Chi Jia pushed Jing Rui against the back of the sofa, kissing her from her lips to her neck, inhaling her intoxicating fragrance.

Her face burning hot, Chi Jia pressed her cheek against Jing Rui's cool neck, finding comfort in the contact.

Jing Rui tilted her head back, letting Chi Jia kiss and nuzzle her, a look of pleasure on her face.

"Are you a puppy?" Jing Rui wrapped her arm around Chi Jia's neck, pulling her closer.

"You smell so good..." Embracing each other, Chi Jia lost herself again. Since they had come this far, she would let go tonight, not holding back, following her heart.

Chi Jia felt she had no right to judge Jing Rui; she was doing the same, being intimate with someone she didn't necessarily like.

Jing Rui smiled, lifting Chi Jia's chin, making her look at her. "So, hungry?"

That smile again. Chi Jia gently touched Jing Rui's lips with her finger; they were so soft, no wonder kissing her felt so good. "Vixen..."

Miss Chi looked incredibly cute like this.

Jing Rui smiled, pushing Chi Jia down onto the sofa, gently stroking her hair, and whispering in her ear, "You keep calling me a vixen, tonight I'll show you what a vixen is really like."

Chi Jia's heart pounded; she had never felt such desire for a woman before.

It wasn't even midnight yet; the night was still young.

Gazing into each other's eyes, they became entangled again.

"Let's take a shower first." Jing Rui's eyes were seductive. "Together."

Chi Jia turned her head, refusing awkwardly. "No..."

Despite saying no, with a gentle pull from Jing Rui, Chi Jia followed her.

In the bathroom, their clothes lay scattered on the floor.

The large bed in the presidential suite was wide and soft.

Jing Rui lay down next to Chi Jia, caressing her face. "No need to be so nervous with a woman. It'll be very comfortable..."

"...You talk too much!" How could she not be nervous? It was her first time! Chi Jia felt her face burning even hotter, she must be completely red. She turned off the lights, plunging the room into darkness.

The night was filled with passion.

"Chi Jia, and you said you don't feel anything towards women?"

Chi Jia buried her face in the pillow, still stubbornly insisting, "I don't feel anything..."

"You also said you're not interested in women, then where are your hands going?"

"Jing Rui!! Shut up!"

When Chi Jia tried to pull her hand back, Jing Rui held it tight, and a voice whispered in her ear, "Continue, I like it."

"Vixen."

"Do you like it?"

Overcome with emotion, Chi Jia finally admitted the truth. "Yes."

Jing Rui was surprised that it was Chi Jia's first time, so she was especially gentle.

Chi Jia was also surprised that she had slept with a woman, but looking back, she didn't regret it. At least that night, she and Jing Rui had a great time. She had wanted to indulge and have fun, and she had achieved her goal.

The next day, Chi Jia overslept. She woke up entangled with Jing Rui, feeling embarrassed because they were both naked.

As Chi Jia tried to move away, she woke Jing Rui up.

Jing Rui opened her eyes, her arm still around Chi Jia, and asked softly, "How are you feeling? Any discomfort?"

The vixen's rare gentleness made Chi Jia uncomfortable. She didn't want to stay in this position. "No, let go..."

"Was it comfortable?" Jing Rui asked with a mischievous smile.

Chi Jia frowned. "Turn your head away."

"Hmm?"

"I need to get dressed."

Jing Rui laughed. "I helped you bathe last night."

Implying there was nothing to hide.

"Don't mention last night!" Chi Jia pushed Jing Rui away, her expression serious. "Let's pretend last night never happened."

The classic one-night stand line; Chi Jia never thought she would be saying it.

Jing Rui's smile gradually faded. She looked at Chi Jia in silence for a few seconds, then released her, turning to lie on her side, facing away.

Chi Jia hurriedly picked up her clothes from the floor and rushed into the bathroom.

Looking at herself in the mirror, covered in hickeys, Chi Jia blushed, quickly putting on her clothes. She turned on the tap, splashed cold water on her face, and stared at herself in the mirror.

Now, she was fully awake.

When Chi Jia came out of the bathroom, Jing Rui was also dressed.

"I was drunk last night, so..." Chi Jia stood in front of Jing Rui, continuing her awkward explanation. "Even so, I don't like women. Last night was just an accident… it won't happen again!"

"Miss Chi, I didn't take it seriously." Jing Rui smiled wryly. "You don't have to explain, I understand."

Chi Jia bit her lip. "I'll be going now."

"Wait, I'll take you..."

Chi Jia picked up her bag. "No need."

The door closed behind Chi Jia as she left.

The air in the room now felt cold and impersonal, a stark contrast to their intimacy in bed last night.

Jing Rui rubbed her arms; the air conditioning was a bit too cold. She stared at the door, a casual fling that started and ended abruptly, no lingering attachments. It seemed perfectly normal, yet something felt amiss.

Looking back at the messy bed, she couldn't help but recall the details of last night.

Chi Jia stormed into the elevator, angrily pressing the button for the first floor.

Although they were both drunk last night, their intimacy was consensual. Chi Jia knew it was just a fling, but why was she so angry when Jing Rui said she didn't take it seriously…
