Monster - Chapter 110
Chapter 110: Dream Castle - Caught in the Act
Xing Meilu was dragged into a room on the second floor of the castle by Saya, who was acting purely on instinct. The latter had been shot several times, and her face was ashen. After pushing Xing Meilu into the room, she turned around and planted numerous bombs at the door before hugging herself, trembling all over, and collapsing limply to the ground.
Xing Meilu bit her lip and dragged her to a sheltered spot, where she began to perform emergency first aid. Perhaps from being shot so often, Saya had some tools on her for accelerating wound healing and removing bullets. But even so, her injuries were far too severe. The blood flowing from her wounds made Xing Meilu worry that she would eventually bleed out.
"Like a fool, she won't listen to reason…" Xing Meilu cursed under her breath. Saya had been focused only on dragging her along, giving her no time to even get a word in. And the trail of blood they'd left behind could surely be tracked by anyone paying the slightest attention. Would they have to detonate the bombs and keep running then?
She removed the bullet casings and bandaged the wounds as quickly as she could. By the time a sweat-drenched Xing Meilu was finished, half an hour had passed. Although Saya's wounds couldn't be said to have stopped bleeding entirely, at least they were no longer dripping onto the floor.
"Saya, it's not safe here. I'll take you somewhere else," Xing Meilu said, gently patting the unconscious Saya. But to leave with her, she first needed this bomb maniac to disarm the explosives she'd planted at the door without a second thought.
Saya didn't respond. Xing Meilu called her name for a while longer. But the extremely unstable Saya woke up differently from other people. She opened her eyes, and her first reaction upon seeing Xing Meilu was to smile. Her second was to raise her blood-bandaged hand, wrap it around Xing Meilu's neck, and kiss her.
"You…" Having recklessly used her artifacts, Saya was now completely devoid of logic or reason. But Xing Meilu was still stunned by this sudden attack, especially when they were in such a dire situation. She froze for a moment, then shoved Saya away forcefully. Once or twice was one thing, but she didn't want to be treated like Xu Yao every single time.
But Xing Meilu had clearly underestimated Saya's stubbornness. Even with a forceful shove that could have ruined their relationship, she still refused to let go. In fact, she held on even tighter, her actions becoming more intimate.
Xing Meilu glanced down and saw that her forceful push had caused fresh blood to well up from the wound on Saya's shoulder. She felt both pained and helpless. Held tightly by Saya, she looked down at her own palms, which were covered in Saya's blood. A wave of grievance suddenly washed over her, and she burst into tears on the spot.
The crazed Saya, however, paid no mind to Xing Meilu's grievance and embarrassment. She kissed her lips, their breaths mingling. Seeing Xing Meilu cry, she licked away her tears. Her hands were already wrapped tightly around Xing Meilu's waist.
"Little Crow, where did Cheng Gui go?" Miu suddenly heard Lou's question on the team channel.
"He just swapped into some girl's body and headed for Enzo's basement. But before going down, he swapped bodies again. Probably because the girl he'd possessed was judged 'not guilty' and wasn't useful anymore."
"If anyone comes to this room in the southeast corner of the second floor, you have to stop them," Lou instructed Miu seriously on the team channel.
Miu was no rule-abiding crow. It knew there must be something up for Lou to say that. It immediately diverted its attention and extended its Island to the room Lou mentioned. There, it saw the crazy woman, Saya, from before, doing intimate things with Xing Meilu. The latter looked aggrieved, her face tear-streaked, but in reality, she wasn't resisting Saya's actions at all. But what left Miu most speechless was that Lou and Lin Sandie were hiding inside a wardrobe in that very room.
Lou was kneeling on the bottom shelf of the wardrobe, peeking out through a crack with an excited expression. And sitting beside her, Lin Sandie was leaning against the side panel of the wardrobe, looking up at the ceiling with a complicated expression on her face.
"I'm working my ass off doing this mission, and you're fucking watching porn!?" Miu flew into a rage upon seeing this.
"Hold on~ It's just getting good. I'll help you after I'm done watching," Lou replied, watching with great interest as Saya conquered the constantly crying Xing Meilu.
"Hope you get a sty!" Knowing it was too late to have Lou go out and ruin their moment, Miu cursed resentfully and went back to monitoring Cheng Gui.
Lin Sandie never thought she'd encounter such an awkward situation in her entire life. But now, the chance to go out and explain was lost. Besides, if she dragged Lou out now and told the two passionate women outside that this was all a misunderstanding—that she and Lou had just happened to sneak into this room and hide in the wardrobe, only to stumble upon their private moment—not only would Xing Meilu probably die of shame, but that Saya might just blow her and Lou to smithereens.
Regardless, Lin Sandie didn't want to make an enemy of Saya right now.
All of this was Lou's fault.
At first, Lin Sandie thought she was genuinely suffering from the side effects of using Lilo's Poetry Collection and had to stay in a comfortable place for twenty-four hours to recover. But unexpectedly, after she had refused Lou and they had run out of small talk, Lou gradually revealed her true colors. She couldn't sit still in the car at all. And after hearing from Miu about how Cheng Gui was on a killing spree, she immediately dragged Lin Sandie through the rain to the Dream Castle.
At that time, Cheng Gui was sweeping through the first floor, judging everyone he met. Lou had pulled her along, saying they should find a safe place, let Cheng Gui kill most of the people, and then emerge to reap the rewards.
Just as the two of them were in this room, Lou suddenly sensed someone approaching. Without a second thought, she pulled Lin Sandie into the wardrobe. Up to that point, Lin Sandie felt it was a normal course of action. But when she realized the people who came in were Xing Meilu and Saya, she was about to step out and greet them but was stopped by Lou.
Lin Sandie suddenly remembered that Lou must have been tipped off by Miu before pushing her into the wardrobe. She wanted to spy and gather information on Saya.
While lamenting Lou's poor upbringing, Lin Sandie tacitly approved of this behavior. After all, she, Lin Sandie, didn't consider herself some paragon of virtue. As long as it could genuinely help her, there were some things she didn't mind doing.
It was just that instead of gathering useful information, they had run into this awkward scene. That's why Lin Sandie's expression was so complicated.
Panting and moaning sounds, interspersed with soft sobs, constantly reached her ears. Lin Sandie felt that ever since getting together with Lou, her skin had gotten thicker and her standards had dropped lower and lower.
She took out her phone and started playing with it, not wanting what was happening outside to distract her. However, she glanced at Lou and saw her looking back. Then, with a look of sudden realization, Lou also took out her phone and pressed the camera lens against the crack in the wardrobe door.
This really crossed a line for Lin Sandie. She reached out, grabbed Lou's wrist, and glared at her, shaking her head in warning.
Lou glared back defiantly. Look at Saya and Xing Meilu; they'd gotten together after knowing each other for such a short time. Yet this damn woman beside her was still insisting on half a year or a few months.
Being angry at Lin Sandie was one thing, but Lou didn't continue what she was doing. She had just been teasing Lin Sandie anyway. But seeing the other woman rush to the Dream Castle with her in the rain, barging in before even dealing with Saya… Her hair was still damp, a few pink strands clinging to her neck, making her look a bit disheveled. Lou felt her heart skip a few beats, and a rush of heat seemed to surge to her head. This version of Lin Sandie was even more intoxicating than watching an R-rated scene.
But the more this happened, the more unhappy Lou felt. She turned her head away in a sulk and stopped paying attention to Lin Sandie.
Just then, Lin Sandie, sitting beside her, suddenly lifted Lou's equally damp long hair with both hands. A dry towel was placed on her shoulders.
Lou bit her lip, not moving or turning to look at Lin Sandie. Her eyes were still fixed on the scene outside the wardrobe, but her expression had become listless.
Lin Sandie paid her no mind. After placing the towel on her, she also bought a clean towel for herself from the points mall. She casually dried her wet hair while looking down at her phone, continuing to play with a blank expression. The cold light from the phone seemed to cast a glaze over her beautiful face, making her appear cold and distant.
Miu, who was keeping an eye on Lou, could sense that its partner's mood had become unusually unstable. It had reached a point of fluctuation that Miu noticed immediately. It was just about to gossip and wonder if it should provide cover for her so she could force herself on Lin Sandie right there in the wardrobe. But before it could say anything, it heard Lou speak coldly on the team channel:
"I'm tired of watching. Help me lure those two outside away. I want to get out."
Miu the crow was not Lou's assistant and certainly wouldn't obey her commands unconditionally. Most of the time, it wouldn't bother with Lou's personal affairs at all. As for the information it eavesdropped on, if it was unrelated to the mission, it would share it with Lou when it felt like it, and wouldn't if it didn't.
So when an unhappy Lou asked it to lure away Saya and Xing Meilu, it couldn't be bothered to respond. Instead, it put on a busy act and said, "Wei and Mike have arrived. People from Bite Mark are here too, three of them in total."
Lin Sandie checked the time. It was already past 2 a.m. In the faint glow of her phone, she could see Lou's indignant face. She had her knees drawn up, her brow slightly furrowed, and Lin Sandie had no idea what she was suddenly angry about.
Putting her phone away, Lin Sandie's cool fingers hooked around Lou's, wanting to hold her hand.
But Lou lifted her hand slightly, trying to avoid Lin Sandie's small gesture. The latter, however, was more forceful, immediately tightening her fingers and grasping Lou's hand before she could pull away.
The last bit of light from the phone disappeared inside the wardrobe. Lou's heart began to pound, and her breathing became erratic. She thought Lin Sandie was really going to start something, but this scene was fatally inappropriate.
I'm not angry because I want her to do something, I'm just angry…
As Lou's mind raced, she stopped struggling. Lin Sandie held her hands and gently, softly separated them. Lou felt her cool palms touch something soft and scorching hot.
Lin Sandie placed Lou's hands on her own ears and cheeks. They were burning as if with a fever. It was like an answer.
Their knees touched. Lin Sandie leaned close to Lou and whispered in her ear, "You're very charming. I'm always thinking about how to violate you, you silly Lou Lou~"
Lou's face instantly turned completely red.
