Our Love, A Public Service - Chapter 91
Chapter 91: Watching the Sea (Part 1)
During the second Spring Festival after their marriage, as was their usual arrangement, Jing Rui first accompanied Chi Jia back to her hometown. Then, Chi Jia went with Jing Rui to S City for a few days. Only after spending time with both sets of parents did they finally carve out some time for just the two of them.
Chi Jia and Jing Rui both loved lively places and enjoyed traveling, wandering around and exploring different spots.
The long Spring Festival holiday was a rare opportunity. Since they both had time, they were bound to go on a vacation to relax. They had been doing this since before they were married.
They arrived in H City in the evening. The setting sun cast a dim yellow light, and a quiet tranquility settled over the sandy beach.
As soon as they got to the hotel room, Chi Jia quickly shed her coat, flopped onto the sofa spread-eagled, and dragged out in a long, weary voice, "Finally, we're free—"
Jing Rui followed and sat down on the edge of the sofa, her eyes filled with amusement as she watched the other woman finally reveal her true nature.
Chi Jia's personality had nothing to do with being quiet and well-behaved. For the past few days in front of their parents, however, she had put on a convincing act, as if she were a different person.
"Who asked you to pretend? You were even forcing your voice to sound gentle. Aren't you tired?" Jing Rui pinched Chi Jia's leg. She was used to Chi Jia's boisterousness, so hearing her put on airs and speak softly was awkwardly funny.
Chi Jia directly lifted her leg and rested it on Jing Rui's lap, muttering a complaint, "I was just trying to make a good impression on your parents, so they wouldn't think I treat you badly."
"Oh, so you finally admit you treat me badly?" Jing Rui didn't forget to add, "Little tigress."
Chi Jia rubbed against Jing Rui's leg a couple more times. She didn't know when it started, but she had come to accept the nickname "little tigress." In fact, she quite liked hearing Jing Rui call her that. Maybe it was because of the strange sense of indulgence in it?
"Come here." Chi Jia reached out, hooked Jing Rui's fingers, and gave a little pull.
"What for?" Jing Rui asked, feigning ignorance.
Chi Jia didn't say much more, just pulled and dragged until she clingily pushed Jing Rui down to lie on the sofa with her. She loved being coquettish with Jing Rui, especially when she was tired. She particularly liked Jing Rui holding her, but she would never say something delicate like, "Wife, give me a hug."
Jing Rui had long since figured out Chi Jia's temperament. Sometimes she was like a child who needed to be coaxed. After lying down, she instinctively pulled Chi Jia into her arms.
Chi Jia smiled in satisfaction, nuzzling her face into the crook of Jing Rui's neck.
"Hiss—" Jing Rui twisted her neck.
"What's wrong?" Chi Jia quickly lifted her head.
"I slept on it wrong last night. My neck hurts."
Hearing this, Chi Jia urged, "Get up, let me rub it."
"Miss Chi," Jing Rui negotiated, "can you be a little gentler when you're doting on your wife?"
"You have so many demands! How am I not gentle?!" Chi Jia retorted fiercely, but then her tone softened a few notches. "Get up, I'll help you rub it."
Jing Rui looked at Chi Jia with a helpless smile. She would never meet another person in her life who was so bad-tempered, yet whom she liked so much.
Chi Jia sat cross-legged on the sofa, pushed aside the long hair on the nape of Jing Rui's neck, and began to massage gently but firmly.
Jing Rui liked to tease Chi Jia about her bad temper, but it was just for fun. Chi Jia might seem carefree, but when it came to her, she was attentive when she needed to be and considerate when it counted, never slacking off. Jing Rui knew this clearly in her heart.
"Does it hurt here?" Chi Jia asked as she massaged.
"Mmm~" Jing Rui closed her eyes, relaxing her neck, and let out a soft, fragmented hum. "A little more to the left."
That sound was enough to make one blush. Chi Jia frowned slightly and said, "Jing Rui..."
Jing Rui's voice was still low. "What?"
Chi Jia squeezed her shoulder a little harder. "Can you be a little more low-key?"
Jing Rui laughed, then frowned again. "Gently, that hurts."
Chi Jia: "..."
Forget it, she was used to it.
Chi Jia continued to massage her for a few more minutes.
With her eyes closed, Jing Rui softly said, "That feels good."
Chi Jia's hands paused.
Jing Rui turned back to look at her. "Tired? Then don't massage anymore."
Chi Jia didn't speak. She seized the opportunity to hug her and peck her on the corner of her mouth. The vixen's soft appearance made her heart flutter uncontrollably. No matter how many times it happened, she still fell for it.
Jing Rui just rubbed her nose against hers. "It's my period, don't mess around."
"I know," Chi Jia replied sullenly. She looked at Jing Rui for a long moment before awkwardly forcing out, "Just a kiss."
Jing Rui smiled at her and, at the same time, gave her a gentle kiss on the lips.
Chi Jia was dissatisfied, her temper flaring in a small voice, "What are you laughing at?"
Enduring the pain in her neck, Jing Rui turned her head, reached out, and cupped half of Chi Jia's face, giving it a few gentle pinches.
Chi Jia exclaimed, "Jing Rui, you're a brute."
"I learned to be a brute from you," Jing Rui said with a laugh. She still preferred seeing her Miss Chi when her temper flared. Gazing at her like this, she couldn't help but lean over and gently kiss Chi Jia's upper lip. After the kiss, she didn't speak, just quietly gazed into Chi Jia's eyes and smiled.
Just like that, in silence, the atmosphere turned sweet.
There she goes with that trick again. Chi Jia had to admit she was a complete sucker for this move from Jing Rui, completely under her thumb. She immediately quieted down, lowered her eyes, her face filled with a sweet smile.
The corners of Jing Rui's lips curved up.
She had always heard people say that when two people are together for a long time, the feeling of a fluttering heart slowly fades. But Chi Jia felt that it wasn't like that for her and Jing Rui, even though their daily life had settled into a peaceful routine. She could always find that initial flutter of her heart for Jing Rui, and she believed Jing Rui felt the same way—she could sense it.
As for their physical intimacy, she and Jing Rui lacked nothing; in fact, it had only increased after marriage. It was probably because her vixen was just too good at it, making it impossible to ever get tired of her. Speaking of which, their initial attraction to each other was also because they were so naturally compatible.
After a long kiss, Jing Rui finally pulled away. She gently stroked the hair at Chi Jia's temple, kissed the corner of her mouth again, and leaned in to ask in a low voice, "Sweet?"
Smiling like a siren, she could charm anyone's heart away. Chi Jia took a moment to recover before saying, "You're getting on in years, yet you're still so good at seducing people."
Hearing this, Jing Rui's smile became even more enchanting.
"I only seduce you. If you like it, I'll seduce you for a lifetime." Jing Rui hugged Chi Jia back, gazing at the tip of her nose as she spoke leisurely. Every time Chi Jia said she was seductive, she would always add, "I only seduce you."
One loved to seduce, the other loved to be seduced—a match made in heaven.
Chi Jia smiled knowingly. She rubbed her nose against Jing Rui's in return, then placed a light, fleeting kiss on her lips.
Just wanting to hold each other like this was comfortable and pleasant. They had been spending time with family recently, which wasn't always so convenient. Now that it was just the two of them, they could naturally relax completely. They could do whatever they wanted.
"Jing Rui."
"Hmm?"
"Have you had enough of hugging yet?"
"No, let me hold you a little longer."
Chi Jia only pretended to be annoyed, but she always gave in to the request. She was still holding Jing Rui tightly. Even after being together for so long, she still loved being clingy and affectionate with her.
It seemed she only became gentle after a bit of bickering.
Jing Rui loved it when Chi Jia kissed her gently; it was like a calm yet profound declaration of "I love you."
"Don't sleep in tomorrow morning. You promised to watch the sunrise with me," Jing Rui reminded Chi Jia in advance. Knowing Miss Chi's habits, if she didn't remind her beforehand, she would definitely not be able to get up.
"I know." Chi Jia expressed her doubts about the sunrise plan. "Can you get up?"
Jing Rui said, "If you can get up, I can get up."
Chi Jia still didn't believe it. Jing Rui could sleep in just as well as she could.
Sure enough, the next day, the alarm blared four times, and neither of them managed to get up. They just hugged each other, one pushing the other to get up.
The alarm gave Chi Jia a headache, and her morning grumpiness shot up. She pulled the blanket over her head and kicked Jing Rui's leg under the covers. "Get up."
Jing Rui didn't open her eyes, her arms wrapped motionlessly around Chi Jia's waist as she mumbled, "You get up first."
Chi Jia wouldn't have it. "Why should I... You get up first..."
Like passing a hot potato, they pushed the responsibility back and forth until they ended up just hugging each other, neither making a move. This was their daily routine of lazing in bed.
The alarm started ringing again. The fifth time.
Chi Jia couldn't stand the noise anymore and gave up. She opened her eyes, turned off the alarm, and groggily saw that Jing Rui was still asleep, her face looking a bit worn and tired. Her morning grumpiness vanished, replaced by a pang of sympathy. She knew Jing Rui hadn't been able to rest well during the holiday, as she had to keep an eye on company matters.
"What's so great about a sunrise anyway," Chi Jia grumbled to herself. But after a moment, she carefully caressed Jing Rui's cheek and called softly, "Wife, wife—"
"Hmm?" Jing Rui responded, her eyes still squinted shut.
"Do you still want to see the sunrise? If not, just go back to sleep," Chi Jia asked.
"I want to see it," Jing Rui said, her voice trailing off lazily as she finally managed to open her eyes a little.
She still wants to see it even though she's this sleepy. Chi Jia glanced at the time and said to Jing Rui, "Sleep for another ten minutes. I'll wake you up then."
Jing Rui responded with another "Mmm."
Chi Jia forced herself to get up and wash her face. Ten minutes later, she acted as Jing Rui's human alarm clock. She used to have terrible morning grumpiness, but after getting together with Jing Rui, she had mellowed out and changed a lot.
Although Jing Rui also liked to laze in bed, when she saw that Chi Jia had even brought her clothes over, she asked, "Why are you being so good to me today?"
Chi Jia sat on the edge of the bed and replied in a slightly aggrieved tone, "Do I normally abuse you?"
What on earth is she talking about? Jing Rui burst out laughing. Unlike Chi Jia, she liked to be a little coquettish right after waking up. "Hug me and help me up~"
As soon as Chi Jia heard Jing Rui being coquettish, she first looked at her silently for a couple of seconds, then an unconscious, faint smile appeared on her face. She bent down and hugged Jing Rui into a sitting position. "How old are you, still acting like this."
Jing Rui hooked her arms around Chi Jia's neck, reasoning soundly, "Is there an age limit for being coquettish with your wife?"
Chi Jia was at a loss for words. She gave Jing Rui's waist a gentle squeeze. "Vixen, if you don't get up now, the sun will be fully up."
Aiai essas duas são maravilhosas kkkkk
