Princess Syndrome - Chapter 87

Chapter 87: Believer

Ji Zhiyi’s forehead was pressed against hers. She opened her eyes and looked at Su Lingyue. The person in front of her had a flushed complexion, her beautiful eyelashes were slightly upturned, and her beautiful eyes held unconcealed emotions and desire. Her thin lips were slightly swollen, and the sweetness from the recent licking was the best aphrodisiac, not allowing Ji Zhiyi to say half a no.

But her phone rang at exactly the wrong time.

It was clamoring on the coffee table.

Su Lingyue frowned. She remembered that Ji Zhiyi still had a lot of work to hand over and a lot of meetings to attend. Although she knew that, she was still unhappy. Just as her excitement had worn off and she was about to get off of Ji Zhiyi's lap, Ji Zhiyi grabbed her wrist. She looked at Ji Zhiyi.

In Ji Zhiyi’s eyes, flames that were no less intense than hers burned, leading to a delusional feeling of madness.

Su Lingyue was shocked for a second.

Ji Zhiyi lowered her eyes, and said softly, her voice containing gentleness: "Go take a shower first."

Su Lingyue could hear the underlying meaning. She bit her lip, and laughed. She quickly moved off of Ji Zhiyi, and stood up. She then bent down and cupped Ji Zhiyi's face and gave her a deep kiss. Finally, she ran her fingers across Ji Zhiyi's thin lips, very forcefully, turning her lips from colorless to bright red. Su Lingyue bit her lip, and said: "I'm going to take a shower."

She turned around, and even started humming.

Ji Zhiyi’s fingers unconsciously touched her sore lips. When she came back to her senses, she picked up the phone on the coffee table.

It was Qi An.

Qi An was ten years older than her. She had always lived overseas. Before she had taken over Jiang Ya's business, Qi An had been managing it. After she had come back to the country, she had brought most of the business back to the country and had established Yilin. Qi An had helped her a lot. Her personality was completely different from Jiang Ya's. She was gentle, and always spoke in a slow, relaxed tone.

Qi An and Jiang Ya were not only from the same hometown, but her older sister was also a friend of Jiang Ya’s. Due to this relationship, Qi An and Jiang Ya’s relationship was always good. Later, her sister had accidentally become involved in a medical dispute, and by the time Jiang Ya had found out and had come back, her sister had already passed away. The old couple were greatly affected by this, and they had been dispirited. After a few years, they had both passed away. At that time, Qi An was underage, so she had simply gone overseas with Jiang Ya.

After graduating, she had always helped to manage Jiang Ya’s business.

At that time, Jiang Ya was more focused on Jiang Yunlu.

Not long after she got married, she had divorced peacefully from her husband. Her husband was an actor. After the divorce, considering her child's education, her husband had given most of his savings to Jiang Ya and Jiang Yunlu. Jiang Ya had used that money to invest. She had a sharp eye, and made a lot of money from her investments. At that time, Qi An had also graduated, and had joined her company. After that, they also lived what could be called happy days.

The two lived together, raising Jiang Yunlu. However, Jiang Yunlu was not happy. What she had done at school every day, who she had befriended, and even how many messages she sent, and what kind of messages she sent, Jiang Ya had to know about it. This led to constant arguments between them. Fortunately, Qi An would mediate. And so they had a few peaceful years, but she had never expected that Jiang Yunlu would run away.

And after running away, she had completely disappeared.

By the time she was found again, Jiang Yunlu was already lying in a hospital bed.

Jiang Ya was even less focused on business. She handed it all over to Qi An. During that time, because of the matter of taking care of Jiang Yunlu, the two had a falling out, and they had several intense arguments. Other than helping Jiang Ya with the business, Qi An rarely met her.

It wasn't until Ji Zhiyi was about to take over that she had gotten into a car accident. Her leg had been injured, and she had to use a wheelchair even when it was windy and rainy. Her mobility was limited. After that, the company had been handed over to Ji Zhiyi. After that, Ji Zhiyi had come back to the country, and she was put in charge of the overseas businesses.

Her call now was not unexpected. It was definitely because of Yilin’s matter.

Ji Zhiyi picked up, and heard her say on the other end: "Did you get scolded again?"

Hearing her familiar voice, Ji Zhiyi said: "Sister An."

Her tone, even across the phone, wasn't warm, but Qi An didn't mind. She sighed: "After all these years, her personality still hasn't changed. Did you get a notification?"

Ji Zhiyi: "I did."

Qi An: “She’s in a fit. You should go back and apologize. Don’t be so stubborn. This time, you were in the wrong.”

Ji Zhiyi knew that.

She lowered her eyes: "Mm."

Qi An didn't say anything more. Ever since her car accident, she had been living in seclusion. Jiang Ya had gone to see her a few times, but she had been turned away. Later, she didn't know how, but she had invited her back to the company.

Ji Zhiyi said: “I've already told the project department. Once they have finished organizing everything, they will send it to you."

Qi An said: "Okay, if you have any problems, call me anytime."

Ji Zhiyi said: "Mm."

Qi An was worried: “Don’t talk back to her.”

Ji Zhiyi said: "I know."

After hanging up, Ji Zhiyi lay on the sofa. She wasn’t close to Qi An, but she knew that Qi An would always be unconditionally on Jiang Ya's side. Although she would speak gently, her methods were anything but gentle.

When Jiang Ya had used the authorization for the Haoyue collection to threaten her.

It was Qi An who had suggested that.

Therefore, she and Qi An couldn't be called close friends. They were just business partners.

Ji Zhiyi had just placed her hand on her forehead when a figure hugged her from behind. Su Lingyue, who was still damp, asked her: "Did you finish your call?"

She turned her head, and looked at Su Lingyue.

Su Lingyue had taken a shower. Her eyelashes were beaded with water droplets, her cheeks were flushed from the hot water, she had taken off her makeup, and her forehead was clean and smooth. Ji Zhiyi said, "Mm, I finished it."

“Then are you going to take a shower?” Su Lingyue asked her. Saying those words sounded like an invitation.

Before Ji Zhiyi could speak.

Su Lingyue leaned in close to her ear: “I drew you a bath.”

The tip of her ear went numb.

Ji Zhiyi looked at her, her eyes bright. She got up: "I'll go get a set of pajamas."

Su Lingyue said, “You go take a bath first, I’ll bring them to you.”

Ji Zhiyi agreed.

She went into the bathroom. The bathtub had been filled with water, and there were a few petals floating on the surface. She recognized them. They were the flowers that the waiter had just changed this morning. She picked one up. Her fingertips retained the fragrance.

Aromatherapy was lit next to the bathtub, and the lighting in the bathroom was also a warm color. As soon as she came in, she had felt comfortable, a comfort from her senses to her knowledge.

Ji Zhiyi went into the bathtub.

The warm water covered her skin, absorbing her moisture bit by bit. She had one hand on the edge of the bathtub, and saw that there was also half a glass of red wine next to the aromatherapy.

What a romantic mood.

But Ji Zhiyi wanted to laugh. She thought of how Su Lingyue had been tiptoeing around as she set up the scene. She called out: "Lingyue."

Su Lingyue was in the closet, looking for pajamas.

The ones that were too conservative had already been stuffed back in. In the end, she chose two nightgowns.

One red and one white.

She stared at the two of them for a long time, hesitating, and finally chose the red one. Just as she took it in her hand, she heard Ji Zhiyi call her. She quickly walked to the bathroom door. She pushed it open. She saw Ji Zhiyi still soaking in the bath. She lifted up the dress in her hand, and said: "Pajamas."

Ji Zhiyi nodded.

Su Lingyue asked, “What did you call me for?”

Ji Zhiyi asked her, "Where did the aromatherapy come from?"

Su Lingyue said, "From the drawer." She said, "Is it very romantic?"

Ji Zhiyi looked at her and smiled: "Where did you learn that?"

Su Lingyue said: "From books."

Ji Zhiyi said, "What else did you learn?"

Su Lingyue's face instantly flushed. She coughed, and looked at Ji Zhiyi. The latter was patiently waiting, her gaze burning as she looked at her.

Su Lingyue said softly, "You already know, don't you?"

Ji Zhiyi said, "I don't know."

She was still pretending.

Su Lingyue walked to her, crouched down, and leaned by her bathtub. She said: "Then you'll find out in a bit."

Ji Zhiyi’s gaze met hers.

She waited for a few seconds, then reached out to poke her cheek.

Her hand still had foam on it. It touched Su Lingyue’s face. It was warm and fragrant. Su Lingyue wiped it off with her hand, wiping it on Ji Zhiyi's face. After wiping it, she wanted to run away, but Ji Zhiyi grabbed her wrist.

She was wearing a long-sleeved nightgown. The fabric on her wrist became wet, and the warm water seeped in through her clothes, sticking to her wrist, her body temperature rose, the water stains soaked her cuffs, and even Su Lingyue's heart became wet.

She looked at Ji Zhiyi. She saw her clean, white face, her eyebrows, her nose, and her thin lips.

Su Lingyue only hesitated for a few seconds, and leaned in.

Ji Zhiyi let go of her.

Su Lingyue had one hand on the edge of the bathtub. She leaned up slightly, and kissed Ji Zhiyi's lips.

The water in the tub rippled, sometimes clear. She caught a glimpse of a bit of red, swaying beneath the surface.

It was soon hidden by the foam, faintly visible.

She used her other hand to hold Ji Zhiyi's neck. Ji Zhiyi tilted her head slightly, and brushed her cheek against hers. Su Lingyue's heart was shaken. She bit Ji Zhiyi's thin lips. When Ji Zhiyi took a breath, Su Lingyue took advantage of the opportunity.

With the experience from kissing a few times, she was no longer a rookie who didn’t understand anything. Now, she skillfully used her tongue to sweep, her wet tongue was like a sharp blade, breaking through all obstacles, creating endless sweetness. She took everything to her heart’s content.

It seemed that kissing in that position was inconvenient.

Su Lingyue let go of her, and her gaze was still intimately entangled with Ji Zhiyi's. She got up. She was wearing her pajamas. One of her feet stepped into the bathtub.

Her pajamas were soaked in the water, and they were now tightly pressed against her, revealing her shapely figure. She was like a fish swimming in front of Ji Zhiyi. Their entwined gazes sparked again. Ji Zhiyi's body was surrounded by foam, slippery and wet. After Su Lingyue got into the water, she hugged her.

She asked Ji Zhiyi: "Are you cold?"

Ji Zhiyi felt like she was on fire, but she still said in a trembling voice: "Cold."

Su Lingyue said: “Then hug me.”

The hem of her nightgown floated on the surface of the water, obscuring everything beneath the surface. Their skin was pressed against each other, soft areas were squeezed together. Everything was closely aligned. Su Lingyue reached out to pinch Ji Zhiyi’s earlobe. She kissed Ji Zhiyi’s neck, loitering, her tongue licking every inch of skin on her neck, every wrinkle. Ji Zhiyi sensed her excitement, which was different from what she was used to. She moved her throat: "Lingyue..."

One of her hands tightly gripped the edge of the tub, her body tense. Su Lingyue looked up, and said softly, "Ji Zhiyi, would it be okay if you sat on top of me?"

Ji Zhiyi returned to her senses. She saw Su Lingyue change positions while hugging her. She had turned around and was sitting on Su Lingyue's lap. Her body, which was soaked in foam, was slippery. Su Lingyue had moved her without much effort.

She didn't say no.

She just laughed softly.

It was like a spoiled form of acquiescence.

Su Lingyue's ear tips flushed red from her laugh. She sat up fiercely, one hand wrapped around Ji Zhiyi, and pulled her towards herself. Water splashed and landed on both of them and their faces.

Ji Zhiyi let out a soft sound as she was hugged unexpectedly.

Su Lingyue, hearing that sound, felt her heart soften. She loosened her grip a little. Her eyes became even more gentle. A few seconds later, she called out: "Ji Zhiyi."

Her voice floated on the water, floating into Ji Zhiyi's ears.

Ji Zhiyi: "Mm?"

Su Lingyue said, "I don’t have any experience. If you’re not comfortable later, tell me, okay?"

Hearing these words, Ji Zhiyi opened her eyes. She straightened up her upper body. She was face to face with Su Lingyue. She was very close. She could clearly see Su Lingyue's features and every subtle expression. Ji Zhiyi placed one hand on Su Lingyue's cheek, as if to comfort her, telling her that it was alright.

At the same time, she hugged her. Her chin landed on her shoulder, and her eye sockets instantly felt hot. She closed her eyes, like a devout follower who was already prepared, and said softly and without any hesitation: "Okay."
